A city pretends to be, always, ordered, and it seems alwaysin disorder. Order in a city is a complicated, unformulated, irregular. A city creates its own order, or it is you who create it, following your own ideas. Cities can be poetic. So can the people you meet and the cityspace you look on. Each of us walks in his imaginary city, meeting with imaginary people. This book with drawings from Yona Friedman tries to be a tourist guide to such imaginary cities.
