Since 1988, 'Architecture in the Netherlands' has been an essential annual review and a source of inspiration for anyone professionally involved in - or simply interested in - Dutch architecture. Each year, a trio of editors reflects on the past year’s developments through a series of thought-provoking essays, complemented by a curated selection of the most compelling projects. Together, these elements offer a nuanced perspective on the current state of the profession. The editorial team for the 2024/2025 yearbook comprises Uri Gilad (Office Winhov), Stephan Petermann (MANN and Volume), and Annuska Pronkhorst (Crimson Historians & Urbanists). In previous editions, the editors have used their project selections to spark dialogue with peers on pressing issues such as housing development and the adaptive reuse of existing buildings. The 2024/2025 edition continues this tradition, engaging with timely topics to explore the ongoing evolution of the field.
